Abbott Must Go.

Today, well known and much respected author and film producer Tony Klinger writes in the Havering Daily on the latest hateful anti semitic remarks by Labour MP Diane Abbott

Diane Abbott MP is a disgrace. How can a leading black politician in the U.K. Parliament be such an ignoramus when it comes to matter of race? What makes it worse was that she was the first black woman elected as an MP and she has endured racism herself so she should know better.
I suppose when you live in a militant echo chamber of similarly slanted exceptionalism where anti-Semitic, anti-Traveller and anti-Irish racist drivel is how you talk to one another behind closed doors. Sometimes it just slips out under the bolted doors. Behind those doors you crack jokes about “pushy Jews” and “thieving Gypsies” and “stupid Irish” forgetting what each of those groups have suffered.
Failing to remember the Irish potato famine brought about partly by the British, and those signs that stated “No Irish” forgetting the commonly held anti Traveller rhetoric. Finally the current fact that although the Jewish population of this country is less that half of one percent more than 50% of all race hate is against the Jews in this country.
On a personal level don’t forget that every Jewish synagogue and school in this country must have security guards outside to counter the attacks too numerous to list.
More personal still my own grandparents, like those of most Jews in the western world, had to run from the pogroms in Eastern Europe. 63 members of my paternal grandmother’s family in Warsaw who didn’t manage to escape were all murdered by the Nazi Germans. An entire family wiped out for the sin of being Jewish.
Yes Diane Abbott I know someone might have called you bad names but do you really believe that this makes the prejudice you suffer worse than others in some kind of stupid equivalence test. In which case I call you being called names and raise it with the Crusades when the first people murdered by the Crusaders were the local Jews a thousand years ago.

Oh, you want us to know about the slave trade, indeed a terrible crime against humanity, but yes, we can match that because a couple of thousand years earlier the Jews were forced into slavery at least twice in their history, or doesn’t that count because instead of a couple of hundred years ago it goes back thousands of years.
Yes prejudice against black people is terrible, and the prejudice against Jews is just like that against red heads? Did Abbott really write that, is she that totally dumb? Really?
Doesn’t this woman realise that all racial prejudice is rotten and unacceptable, including her own?
Shall I bother pointing out to Abbott the forced conversions of the Inquisition in which my ancestors in Spain had a choice, either convert to Christianity, face expulsion from your homes, or be burned at the stake. Perhaps a little worse than someone calling you out for being a person with red hair.
I can continue but I think you will, by now, be getting the idea.
The Labour party did strip the party whip from MP Abbott for making these grossly offensive comments about Jews.
What else could Keir Starmer do when he made his central policy the elimination of the cancer of anti-Semitism from the party?
Abbott has a track record of uttering extremely prejudiced remarks about Israel. That’s what anti-Semites do these days, they disguise their anti-Semitism as anti Zionism as if that makes for an acceptable excuse. It isn’t, but that’s an argument for another day.
Abbott has previously defended that position and attempted to deny the Labour Party under its former leader and her friend Jeremy Corbyn — which the Equality and Human Rights Commission stated had acted unlawfully in its treatment of Jewish members — had a problem with rampant antisemitism. But Abbott labelled such claims “a smear against party members”. Abbott went out of her way to support many of the party’s worst offenders.

This time Abbott was discovered for what she is, her behind the door jibes reached the air and stunk the place out. Her obvious prejudice against Jews can’t be dismissed with the hypocritical and false lie, “it’s just Israel criticism”.
Her Armageddon is Abbott’s letter in the Observer. She wrote objecting to Tomiwa Owolade article. Under the headline “Racism In Britain Is Not A Black And White Issue”, Owolade contended that Jewish, Irish and Traveller communities all suffer from racism. He wrote:
Anyone who is white is privileged, we are told, and racism only affects people of colour. The problem with this view is that there are certain minorities who are seen as white and yet experience prejudice.
In fact, the two groups most likely to say they have experienced racist abuse, according to the survey, are Gypsy, Traveller and Roma communities and Jewish people. More than 60 per cent of Gypsy and Traveller people reported that they had experienced some form of racist assault. More than 55 per cent of Jewish people report the same.
This directly challenges the militant Left’s accepted woke position that only people of colour can be victims of prejudice — this raised Abbott’s hackles until she couldn’t contain herself. Displaying her total lack of intellect and entirely absent moral compass she wrote that Jews and other groups mentioned by Owolade:
“They undoubtedly experience prejudice. This is similar to racism and the two words are often used as if they are interchangeable. It is true that many types of white people with points of difference, such as redheads, can experience this prejudice. But they are not all their lives subject to racism. In pre-civil rights America, Irish people, Jewish people, and Travellers were not required to sit at the back of the bus. In apartheid South Africa, these groups were allowed to vote. And at the height of slavery, there were no white-seeming people manacled on the slave ships.”
When you read it in, you’ll excuse the expression, in black and white, you must admit your mouth just dropped open. By the way there were, I should remind you, something like three quarters of a million white slaves, many of them Irish, and the first major nation to outlaw slavery was the UK who actually did something to stop this terrible trade.
Abbott was immediately suspended from the Labour Party for these remarks which it said were
“deeply offensive and wrong”.
Like a light bulb just turning on this caused Abbott to discover that Jews were the victim of racism after all! Different from redheads!! Wow, who’d have guessed such a thing. In a statement she rushed out, she wrote this, which one might term self- serving rubbish or a CYA damage limitation exercise:
“I wish to wholly and unreservedly withdraw my remarks and dissociate myself from them…Racism takes many forms, and it is completely undeniable that Jewish people have suffered its monstrous effects, as have Irish people, Travellers and many others. Once again, I would like to apologise publicly for the remarks and any distress caused as a result of them”.
But then ask yourself why had Abbott written precisely the opposite in her Observer letter? Abbott, always consistent and honest responded:
“The errors arose in an initial draft being sent.”
If I didn’t know better I might think Abbott is telling porky pies! But let’s remind herself that she’s always honest and consistent. So how was that “initial draft” sent despite it being the total opposite of what Abbott actually was trying to say?
Perhaps there was someone else forcing Abbott to write such rubbish, compelling her to send the wrong draft against her protestations. Happens every day, nothing to see here, move along.
But why did Abbott initially write “Jews don’t experience racism”, whereas what she actually meant to write was “of course Jews experience racism”?
She asks us to believe she wrote two drafts — “Jews aren’t victims of racism/ Jews are victims of racism” —wait a second that is what she actually did!

This is yet another test for Sir Keir Starmer’s New non anti-Semitic Labour Party – let’s hope he remembers those promises.
One of the things I really hate about Abbott is that instead of healing wounds and bringing minority communities together she is potentially causing bigger splits between them. Racism is racism in whichever direction it is aimed and whoever aims it. It is all totally unacceptable.
Diane Abbott should be immediately and permanently ejected from the Labour Party and never re-elected under any banner into Parliament. In fact I don’t understand why she is not being prosecuted under The Race Relations Act of 1965 which “outlawed discrimination on the grounds of colour, race or ethnic or national origins” or don’t Jews, Irish or Traveller communities matter just as much as people
