Officers from Havering Joint Task Force led By Sergeant Ben Tanner have recorded outstanding results for the month of March.

Sergeant Tanner and his officers, yesterday Tuesday 18 April released their March results recorded across the streets of Havering.

The Joint Task Force is intelligence led and tasked to tackle local crime and anti social behaviour hotspots. The team focus on criminals involved in burglary, vehicle theft and drug supply.

The team recorded the following figures:

22 Arrests.

56 (28 Positive) Stop and Search

10 Processed For Criminal Proceedings

3 Penalty Notices

36 Intelligence Reports

22 Stolen Vehicles

17 Crime Reports.

Those arrested were as a result of vehicle/foot interceptions and a proactive intelligence led nature.

Eight were wanted nominals (recall to prison/failing to appear in court)

Six arrested for drug offences (supply/possession)

Four possessing offensive weapons

Four vehicle related crime (taking/stealing)

Twenty two stolen vehicles found across the borough-thirteen of which were originally taken from Havering.

Thirteen vehicles seized for driving matters (no documents)

Well done to Sergeant Tanner and his officers for their fantastic results across Havering.
