BREAKING: Fatal Collision On A1306 New Road Rainham.

A woman has sadly died this morning following a collision between a lorry and a car. The tragic incident happened just after 8.30 this morning and the road has been closed since.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Officers were called at 08:31hrs to New Road at the junction with Wennington Road,Rainham.

A lorry was reported to have been in collision with a car.

London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and London’s Air Ambulance attended.

Despite first aid, the female driver of the car was reported dead at the scene.

Enquiries continue to inform next of kin.”

Local road closures are in place while emergency services deal with the incident.
