Romford Town Centre Officers Hold Violence Against Women And Girls Event At Romford Station.
Police officers from Romford Town centre yesterday, Tuesday 4 April held a community engagement event at Romford rail station.
Officers worked alongside members of the Elizabeth Line to tackle violence against women and girls.
A stall was set out where members of the public had the opportunity to chat with officers and obtain different forms of safety advice including ‘Ask Angela’ and ‘Street Safe’.
Crime prevention information was also provided for members of the community.
This is part of East Area’s ongoing commitment to tackle violence against women and girls.
