Easter Egg Appeal To Help Families In Need.

An Easter egg appeal has been launched across Havering to help the families who cannot afford to buy their children a chocolate egg.

The Ship Cafe in Rainham are looking for any egg to donations that they can, to then hand over to the many families who cannot afford any extra for their children.

The cafe is an amazing community hub that offers free hot food every Tuesday afternoon for those in need of a friendly chat and a warm meal. The ladies there not only make the best cakes in Havering, but are always prepared to greet you with a big smile on their face and open arms.

If you are buying Easter eggs this year, and do have the ability to buy an one extra for families in need, then please pop down with your donation to The Ship Cafe in Rainham.

The cafe is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10-2pm and Tuesday afternoon 3-6pm.
