Havering Residents Association have written to the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak MP asking him to veto the Mayor of London’s decision to expand the ultra low emission zone across outer London boroughs including Havering.

ULEZ is due to kick in at the end of August this year and has left many in a very difficult situation, with many across the outer London boroughs facing life changing decisions.

The HRA have now intensified their campaign to stop this scheme taking place across Havering by writing directly to the Prime Minister.

Please see their letter below.

Absolutely bang on. We are in the same boat. We can’t afford a daily charge. Can’t afford a new car. We are not eligible for the scrappage scheme, and the transport options are not suitable here due to mobility issues for my elderly father in law who lives with us. Also for me when I have flair ups of my condition. We will be isolated too.
