Section 35 Dispersal Order Put In Place for Romford Shopping Centres.

A section 35 dispersal order has been put into place across three Romford shopping Centres. The area covers the Mercury Mall, Liberty Shopping Centre and the Brewery Shopping Centre. It also includes all the underpasses serving the Ring Road.

The dispersal order was authorised by Inspector Asghar, and gives officers the power to ask a group of two or more people, to leave the area if they are committing anti social behaviour or if officers believe they maybe causing a nuisance to someone.

The order lasts 48 hours and started from 10am today.

This comes after the recent stabbings and increase in anti social behaviour.
