Teenager stabbed in Leyton as four arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon.

A fifteen year old boy was stabbed yesterday afternoon in Jubilee Park in Leyton. The incident happened just after 3pm and the boy is not believed to have suffered life changing injuries.

Four people were arrested following the incident on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at about 15:20hrs on Monday, 6 March to reports of an assault at Jubilee Park close to Seymour Road, E10.

“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a slash injury which is not believed to be life-threatening.

“Four people have been arrested on suspicion of offences including causing grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. They have been taken to an east London police station where they remain in custody.”
