Teenager arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following stabbing on Ardleigh Green Road.

Detectives are asking witnesses and those with information to come forward following a stabbing in Hornchurch.

An 18 year old male has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the stabbing of another teenager on Ardleigh Green Road on Tuesday.

The teenager was stabbed outside of Tesco and made his way with the help of his friends, to New City College where staff saved his life.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called to Ardleigh Green Road in Hornchurch at approximately 10:40hrs on Tuesday, 21 February to reports of a male who had been stabbed.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the 18-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is no longer believed to be life-threatening.

“One male, aged 18, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was later released on bail.

“Anyone with information at this early stage is asked to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD 2318/21Feb.”
