Knife removed after being found in teenager’s ruck sack.

Officers from the Violence Suppression Unit yesterday removed this knife off the Dagenham streets after finding it in a teenager’s ruck sack.

Following a stop and search, officers found the large knife hidden inside the carrier.

Well done to East Area’s Violence Suppression Unit who have removed another very dangerous weapon off our streets.

This once again highlights the importance of stop and search in our community.
