A male has been taken to hospital after being stabbed on Ardleigh Green Road at 10:41am.

It is believed the male was stabbed outside of Tesco and from there made his way to the nearby college for help.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called to Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch at approximately 10:41hrs on Tuesday, 21 February to reports of a male who had been stabbed.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the male, was taken to hospital for treatment – his condition awaits.

“No arrests; enquiries continue.”

Anyone with information at this early stage is asked to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD2318/21Feb. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
