Residents living near East Hall Hall Lane in Rainham are thoroughly fed up with the road being used as a fly tipping dump.

Over the weekend the road was once again used by lazy individuals dumping their rubbish all over the road and driving off.

Local Rainham ward councillor Jackie McArdle told the Havering Daily: “Yet again East Hall Lane has been plagued with another bout of fly tipping.

“It is just too easy to fly tip there. Fly tippers drive in one end, unload their rubbish, and then drive out the other end.

“This is not only completely unacceptable, but also a massive cost to the council to remove all this rubbish regularly.

“It is time to make East Hall Lane completely inaccessible to fly tippers, we need cameras there.

“Wennington has enough to deal with.”

Councillor McArdle has been working closely with Cabinet Members to get this issue dealt with as swiftly as possible.
