Man arrested in Rainham as fight breaks out just before 8am.
A 26 year old male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH following a fight just before 8am this morning. The incident happened on Lower Mardyke Avenue at 7.40 am.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital suffering a facial injury, his condition is not believed to be life threatening.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at approximately 07:40hrs on Monday, 6 February to reports of a man assaulted in Lower Mardyke Avenue, Rainham.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 30s, suffering a facial injury. He has been taken to hospital for treatment – his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
“A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH; he remains in custody.”
