Dick Whittington announced as Queen’s Theatre 2023 panto!
Following the incredible success of this year’s pantomime, the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch is delighted to announce this year’s panto extravaganza will be Dick Whittington. This family favourite will run from 23 November – 31 December 2023.
This new version follows hot on the heels of last year’s Sleeping Beauty, which reached record-breaking success and has been short-listed for an Off West End ‘Best Pantomime’ Award. Dick Whittington is written by Andrew Pollard who wrote 2022’s Sleeping Beauty.
Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch have been producing top-quality traditional pantomime for 70 years. You can guarantee that all the family will enjoy this festive treat, which mixes slap-stick entertainment with the sparkle of a West End show.

The theatre is offering an ‘Early Bird Offer’ if customersbook before 31 March 2023 (T&Cs apply). Tickets will remain at last year’s prices (£13 to £34.50 plus 65p QNext fee per ticket) until the end of March. Priority booking is now open for Queen’s Angels. General sale opens on Saturday 4 February. The theatre also has special prices for schools, groups and over 60s.
Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch is committed to ensuring everyone can enjoy the pleasure of live performance and has confirmed it will continue to provide four accessible performances of Dick Whittington. Tickets for a Relaxed (SEN/Autism Friendly) performance(Thursday 14 December at 5.30pm) and a Dementia-Friendly Performance (Thursday 14 December at 1.30pm) are available to purchase alongside the theatre’s regular British Sign Language Interpreted(Saturday 9 December at 6.30pm) and Audio-Described (Saturday 9 December at 2pm) performances.
