Group of males armed with knives seen fighting on South Street.

The scurge of knife crime continues. A group of males were seen fighting with knives in Romford yesterday (Thursday 26 January) afternoon. The incident took place just after 5pm on South Street outside a food outlet. Onlookers looked in horror as the group openly fought each other with knives.

Police were called but the group had dispersed before they arrived. A crime scene was put in place and enquiries continue to identify who the males are.
