VIDEO:East Area Police Commendation Award ceremony praises heroic officers.

Many brave officers were commended yesterday, Tuesday 24 January at a special Commendation Award ceremony in Hornchurch.

Everyday thousands of officers across Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge put themselves in the line of danger to save people’s lives. These officers were yesterday presented with special awards by the East Area Commander Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell at the Cranleigh Hotel.

Also present was Havering’s Mayor Councillor Trevor McKeever who told the Havering Daily: “It was great to see our dedicated professional Police Officers receive awards for going over and above expectations, putting their lives in danger to protect others.”

Havering Deputy Lieutenant Mr Mike Brace CBE DL was also present to pay his respects to all our officers.
