Bereaved mum Sue Hedges from the Ricky Hayden Memorial donated a life saving bleed bag to the Rising Sun pub in Brentwood on Friday January 13.

The anti knife crime campaigner lost her son Ricky Hayden in 2016 after he was fatally stabbed outside of his home in Marks Gate. Since then Sue and her daughter April Hayden have spent their days campaigning against knife crime.

Sue donated a Daniel Baird bleed kit that is London Ambulance approved to Nina from the Rising Sun pub. She told the Havering Daily: “The Daniel Baird bleed kits are so important in our community. They are life saving tools that stop catastrophic bleeding.

“I would like to thank Nina from the Rising Sun pub in Brentwood for accepting this bleed bag on behalf of the Ricky Hayden Memorial.”
