East Area Violent Crime Taskforce remove multiple weapons from our streets on New Year’s Day.

Well done to East Area Violent Crime Taskforce who on New Year’s Day arrested four people for the possession of weapons.

The team also recovered two machetes from Barking and Dagenham, arrested a male for burglary and further recovered a stolen vehicle.

This was great work by our officers who have once again removed a host of dangerous weapons from our streets.

East Area Violent Crime Taskforce provide vital enforcement across the three boroughs and have removed countless weapons from all three areas.
