On Wednesday December 7 a Citizens Advice Annual General and Public Meeting was held at Hornchurch Baptiste Church. The event included Deputy Mayor Councillor Stephanie Nunn and Havering’s Deputy Leader of the Council, Councillor Gillian Ford.

Councillor Ford gave an account of how the cost of living crisis is impacting Havering Council services that provide for the community.

The panel discussion relayed to the public how integrated care is working well in the community and how various agencies such as the council, NHS and voluntary sector are trying to work together to make it easier for people to seek help.

In the last year, our local Citizens Advice Bureau have worked with nearly 4,000 clients with nearly 11,000 issues. The service they provide in our community is invaluable especially during this cost of living crisis that is impacting so many in our community.
