Staff at Romford jewellers sprayed in face with a substance as store is robbed.

A male has sprayed two members of staff in the face with a substance at a jewellers in the Market Hall in Romford this morning. The suspect proceeded to smash a glass cabinet and then fled the store.

The incident occurred at 8am this morning.

A spokesman for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called just before 08:00hrs on Tuesday, 29 November to reports of a robbery at a jewellers in Market Hall, Romford.

A male is reported to have entered and smashed a glass cabinet before fleeing.

A substance is reported to have been sprayed at two members of staff. They are not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.

There have been no arrests at this time.”

    Absolutely terrible god only knows Rainham is not like London a lot harder to get around here we Absolutely rely on the car to get around as my partner has health issues and my work really cannot afford a newer car and there really is nothing wrong with our car apart from Mr Khan dosnt like it what is happening …. what with cost of living we have no chance terrible decision will affect so many people that won’t recover if this happens
