The Vanilla Room in Hornchurch wins best colour salon in Essex!
Independent Hornchurch High Street salon, The Vanilla Room, has been crowned ‘Best Colour Salon’ in Essex at the Salon Awards 2022.
The awards – dubbed the Oscars of the hairdressing industry – took place on Saturday 12th November at London’s Leonardo Hotel, with worthy finalists from all over the country judged by a panel of industry experts.
In awarding the title the judges’ commented – “The Vanilla Room’s commitment to delivering high quality hair colour, cut and style services is unmatched. Kerry and her team are setting a new standard in customer care and colour innovation.”
Kerry Larcher, owner of The Vanilla Room said:“As a Hornchurch salon, to be judged against the best of the best, and be awarded the title of Best Colour Salon in Essex is an incredible achievement. It means the world to me, and my team of hairdressers, to be helping fly the flag for the London Borough of Havering.
We invest heavily into our team here at the salon, professional colour, customer service and homecare. It’s wonderful to be recognised not just for the quality of our hair colour work, but for the high standard of customer care we strive to deliver.”
The win marks the third time The Vanilla Room has succeeded at the Salon Awards, having previously scooped the titles ‘Essex Colour Salon of the Year 2018’ and ‘Essex Best Salon of the Year 2019’. This year the award is made extra sweet as it comes just days after the salon celebrated its 27th birthday – having first opened on North Street in 1995.
