VIDEO: East Area commendation ceremony praises heroic officers in the community.
Police officers from the East Area BCU yesterday, Tuesday 22 November were praised for their heroic actions across our local community. The ceremony led by the BCU Commander Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell, saw officers from Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge given a host of different awards in recognition of their incredible bravery over the last few months.
In attendance were the three different borough Mayors, Councillor Trevor McKeever Havering’s Mayor, Councillor Faruk Choudhury Barking and Dagenham Mayor and Councillor Thavathuray Jeyaranjan Ilford Mayor. Also present was Havering’s Deputy Lieutenant Nick Bracken and a variety of Independent Advisory Group members from all the boroughs.
The ceremony was in honour of all the officers who have gone above and beyond their duty to help save lives and to praise them for their incredible actions.
