Residents living near Array Restaurant in Harold Wood have experienced another weekend of noise, disruption and anti social behaviour once again.

Locals are angry at the continuous list of of problems they experience every weekend and the failure for anyone to deal with the problem. A licence meeting was due to take place last week, but cancelled at the last minute despite residents all being ready to give their long and very valid list of objections and the support of the police.

One resident who did not wish to be named, told the Havering Daily: “The problems started on Friday at 10pm when the security guard that had been on Philida Road was non existent and as a results cars were pulling up everywhere. They leave the restaurant around 1am and they shout and scream at each other, make as much noise as possible, smoke cannabis. One vehicle had parked outside a ‘Do not obstruct’ sign, completely careless of where he had parked. We can see them take drugs and called the police who arrived very quickly. They were then taken away.

“The traffic up and down the hill is a nightmare and an accident waiting to happen. The noise always spills out on the street and we are all kept up until 2.30am every weekend.

“This is a small residential area with many families living here with young children who are regularly kept up due to the anti social behaviour. Something needs to be done, we are living in misery.”
