Brookside Theatre looking for young performers for The Sound of Music
WOULD YOUR CHILD LIKE TO BE INVOLVED IN ONE OF THE BEST-LOVED MUSICALS OF ALL TIME?
Hot on the heels of the Brookside Theatre’s highly acclaimedproduction of ‘Titanic the Musical’, the search is on for Havering’s most talented young performers to play the iconic von Trapp children for the theatre’s next production of unarguably one of the best-loved musicals of all time THE SOUND OF MUSIC.
The creative team is looking for children who can to sing, dance and act as they will be an integral part of the story.
The theatre’s Artistic Director, Jai Sepple said, “The Sound of Music remains one of the most popular musicals of all time. With a timeless score including Do-Re-Mi, My Favorite Things and Climb Ev’ry Mountain, this global phenomenon continues to enchant audiences across the world and we are thrilled to be bringing it to the Brookside Theatre in February.,We are so proud of our venue in the heart of Romford and I am confident that audiences are going to be delighted.

Auditions for the von Trapp children will be held at the theatre on Saturday 19th November 2022.
THE SOUND OF MUSIC will be staged at the Brookside Theatre, Romford from Wednesday 15th – Sunday 19th February 2023. Anyone interested in auditioning should email auditions@brooksidetheatre.com for further information as soon as possible.
