Bereaved mum donates bleed bag to Black Diamond Tattoo.
Sue Hedges and April Hayden from the Ricky Hayden Memorial donated a bleed bag to the Black Diamond Tattoo on North Street Romford last Thursday November 4. The anti knife crime campaigners handed over the Daniel Baird Bleed bag that is London Ambulance approved and a vital life saving piece of equipment that is used for knife crime wounds, gun shot wounds, car accidents and other forms of catastrophic bleeding.
Alan from the Black Diamond Tattoo, donated two gift vouchers worth over £200 as raffle prizes to help buy further bleed bags to donate back into the community.
Sue Hedges the anti knife crime campaigner told the Havering Daily:
“Thank you to Black Diamond Tattoo for taking this vital bleed bag and to Alan for donating the two raffle prizes worth over £200 that will help us purchase more bleed bags.
“Thank you to the Daniel Baird Foundation for providing us with these bleed bags that unfortunately are needed in our community today.
“Sadly we are seeing more and more stabbings every week and once again this issue goes unaddressed.”
Well done to these families who are fighting the horrors of knife crime. Sue and April are two amazing ladies whose battle against knife crime is really making a difference in our community.
