Straight Road in Harold Hill was closed yesterday afternoon following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The incident took place just after 1pm, with police and the London Ambulance Service in attendance.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“At 13:10hrs on Tuesday, 11 October police were called to reports of a road traffic collision in Straight Road, Romford involving a car and a pedestrian.

Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service.

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non-life threatening and non-life changing.”
