Nearly £4K raised for Queen’s and King George’s hospital by charity.

On Friday 23rd September over 200 enthusiastic quizzers gathered at Boothroyd Hall in Dagenham for The Big Charity Quiz, hosted by King George and Queen’s Hospitals Charity.

An incredible total of £3,810 was raised on the night that will help the charity to continue providing the extras in our local hospitals.

Quiz attendee, Joan Linton told the Havering Daily: “The event was a great success, I had a great night and will definitely be there next year!”

Lynda Head, Head of Fundraising for the charity added: “This was our second event since Covid and we have been overwhelmed with the response not only for tickets, but also in the generosity shown during the raffle where local people dug deep to support our local hospitals. We were happy to see regular supporters, but excited to see lots of new faces too. We have already had plenty of promises from our guests to return to the Big Charity Quiz next year, and testimonials saying how much they enjoyed the evening.”

We have another upcoming event on Friday 18th November 2022 – our Marvel-lous Charity Superhero Ball at Orsett Hall. This year’s theme is dedicated to all the Frontline workers who went above and beyond for all of us during the pandemic.
