A group of accountants from Moore Kingston Smith, joined forces with Councillors Sue Ospreay and Jackie McArdle to help children’s cancer charity the MCA Trust, on Friday 23 September.

A plot of land had been donated to the charity at the Rainham allotment site for them to use, but needed clearing and redevelopment. Thanks to local Rainham councillors Jackie and Sue, accountants Moore Kingston Smith jumped on board and gave up their time to come and clear the site so that it can be used in a few months time.

The MCA Trust support local children with cancer and this plot of land will be of great help to them. The accountants were happy to give up their time and work out in the open, clearing away the over grown area that was in need of much work.

Councillors Sue and Jackie who also work at the allotment site, were able to bring all members of the community together once again to achieve fantastic results.

This was a great community effort by all involved and will provide a beautiful open space area for children to enjoy.
