‘One Great Day’-Charity Fun at the Brewery.
The Brewery in Romford is proud to be taking part in ‘One Great Day’ on Saturday 24 September between 11am – 4pm by holding its very own charity fun day at the centre. One Great Day is a series of family and community charity events being held throughout the country to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, and local charities. The Brewery will be raising money for the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, as well as Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
On the day you’ll be able to get your caricature created, be wowed by our roaming magicians, have your face painted in whatever design you desire, and can take home a balloon creation of your choice. All the centre asks is that you make a charitable donation in exchange for enjoying these fantastic activities.
In addition, several restaurants and retailers will be offering goodies and offers throughout the day – all for a donation of course!
One Great Day was established in 2014 and has so far raised over £850,000 for more than 330 different children’s charities along with Great Ormond Street Hospice Charity. One Great Day now covers over 46 million square feet of retail space across the United Kingdom, from Folkestone to Aberdeen and nearly everywhere in-between!
Tom Stobbart, Centre Manager at The Brewery said, “We are hugely proud to be supporting Great Ormond Street and Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund with our fantastic family fun day. We wanted to hold an event that people of all ages could enjoy and something that would create a great energy and excitement at The Brewery. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for both of these incredible charities, which do so much to support vulnerable children. We really hope our customers enjoy the activities on offer and dig deep to ensure the day is a huge success.”
