Reports of gunshots as man in his 30s found with stab wounds in Rainham.
Residents living on South Street Rainham, reported hearing gunshots yesterday evening. Police rushed to the scene including armed response officers and found a man in his 30s suffering from a stab injury. He was taken to hospital where officers await an update on his condition.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at about 20:00hrs on Tuesday, 13 September to reports of gunshots on South Street in Rainham.
“Officers, including firearms officers, attended. A man, aged in his early 30s, was found with stab injuries. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service; we await an update on his condition.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
