The event took place on Tuesday 6 September at Havering Asian and Welfare Association (HASWA) in Elm Park and saw the special charity event take place in conjunction with HASWA.

Raffles, cakes selling and bring and buy, helped Councillor Nunn raise £521, with more donations being made daily.

The raffle was run by Elm Park PCSO Jackie Whitelock and raised £201, the bring and buy was led by Elm Park colleague, Councillor Julie Wilkes Rose and Pauline and raised £101. Tea and cakes sold on the day raised £219.

Councillor Nunn told the Havering Daily: “This was a marvellous result made in an hour and a half. My sincere thanks to the groups of helpers, cake makers, attendees and of course HASWA for all their support.”
