If you want to start your day with a much needed cup of coffee and a very tasty home made slice of cake, then the Q cafe in the Queen’s Theatre is definitely the place to go. A very popular and much loved part of our community, the theatre has a thriving cafe with some of the best homemade cakes in the borough.

On Tuesday August 30, staff from the Havering Daily visited the cafe to sample the delicious cakes available and have a chat with staff.

The cafe is located near the entrance and has just been refurbished. Not only does it have some fantastic food but it also allows for visitors to sit in a pleasant space overlooking the nearby green and have the chance to chat with friends or colleagues in tranquil environment.

We were very impressed not only by the many cakes to choose from, but also by the friendly staff who even presented our writer Charlie Keeble with a birthday cake!

Thank you to all for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to have a much needed cup of coffee and cake. We will definitely be back soon!
