Hornchurch and Upminster MP to host jobs and skills fair at Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch.

MP for Hornchurch and Upminster, Julia Lopez, will be hosting a Jobs and Skills Fair in partnership with the Romford Jobcentre.

Julia Lopez MP’s Jobs and Skills Fair will be hosted from 14.00-17.00pm on Wednesday 31 August at Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch.

A range of employers will be hosting tables at the event including Care Providers Voice, Avon, MTR Elizabeth Line, Bright & Beautiful, Breyer Group and Capita. Training providers such as STC and Havering Works will also be on hand to provide skills advice and professional training. For residents looking for interview clothing and coaching support, Smartworks will be attending to provide additional these services.

This event will be helpful for those looking to get back into work, switch careers, find training opportunities or help someone they know secure a new role. Trained job coaches will be on hand to offer advice and information, while local employers with live vacancies will be looking to meet residents who want to work in the borough.
