Charity Homestart Havering’s family day out at Paradise Wildlife Park.

Harold Hill charity Homestart Havering took groups of families to Paradise Wildlife Park last week for their annual summer trip.

The local charity do amazing work in our community supporting endless families right across the borough making sure they access all the help and support they need for both parents and children.

Homestart are based on Splisby Road and run by manager Lorraine alongside Marine and Cylla. These ladies are real community heroes who work long hours supporting families with endless issues.

On August 9, the team embarked on their annual trip to Kent to visit the Paradise Wildlife Park with many families to have a much needed day out for them and their children, some of whom have never seen the countryside before.

It is charities such as these that are the backbone of community and do a great deal of work that is often unknown.
