Special bleed Kit unit installed at Romford Nightclub in memory of Ricky Hayden.
A special bleed kit unit was installed outside of Jukebox (Kosho) on South Street yesterday evening in memory of the much loved Ricky Hayden. Ricky had worked at the Romford club for many years and considered it his second home before sadly losing his life to knife crime.
The Daniel Baird bleed kit unit is London Ambulance approved and is vital for anyone suffering knife wounds, gun shot wounds, car accidents or even construction injuries. The unit was donated yesterday by Ricky’s mother and sister Sue Hedges and April Hayden who are anti knife crime campaigners, in memory of Ricky.
Jukebox are hosting a special reunion night this Saturday at the Romford club and Danny Woodhouse is donating funds for the purchase of further bleed kits.
Sue Hedges told the Havering Daily: “Thank you to all of Ricky’s friends and family who are attending the special event on Saturday in honour of Ricky. We thank you as a family from the bottom of our hearts for keeping his memory alive.
“Jukebox was a second home to Ricky and I know he loved working there. We are very grateful to them for hosting this special event in his name.”
Well done to everyone involved. Both Sue and April work tirelessly to help prevent other families from losing a loved one. They are two very brave ladies who are real community champions.
