Successful annual Havering Interfaith cricket held.

For the fourth consecutive year the Havering Multicultural Interfaith cricket match was organised by the Havering Interfaith Forum (HIFF).
This event proved another milestone in strengthening interfaith relations and further cemented old and new friendships between our communities.
Sidra Naeem (Secretary of HIFF), told the Havering Daily: “We need to promote interfaith dialogue and integrate into British society. Living in a multicultural country, I believe, it is important to intermingle and learn about each other’s faith & culture.

“In this event we have shown that people can come together and overcome differences and celebrate their similarities, shared values, through a common, fun initiative such as sport and food, where division can be diminished and unity and peace can be promoted!”

There was a great turn out and the event ended with a large shared buffet meal, making this another successful event.
