Safer Transport Team find drug vials concealed in vehicles and hidden on two males.

Well done to East Area Safer Transport team who undertook hotspot patrols across the borough and found drugs stashed in parked vehicles and hidden on to individuals.

Officers came across two parked cars with occupants parked in Romford last week.

Following further checks, officers found in the boot of one car 50 plastic vials containing class A drugs.

In the second vehicle, officers found 3 vials in the centre console and 7 more concealed inside the car.

Four males were subsequently arrested for Possession With Intent to Supply, with two being further arrested for immigration offences. The vehicle was seized following no insurance.

On further searches one male was found with another 40 vials concealed and another male with 6 concealed vials.

The investigation is ongoing.
