VIDEO:First life saving bleed kit unit placed in Basildon.

The first Daniel Baird Bleed Kit Unit and bleed bag were placed in two pubs across Basildon last night by anti knife crime campaigner Julie Taylor.

Julie from the Liam Taylor Legacy, handed over a bleed kit unit to the Owl and the Pussycat pub and a bleed bag to the Castlemayne pub both in Basildon, the first to be installed across the area.

Bleed kits are vital life saving tools that not only save lives but stop catastrophic bleeding from knife wounds or car accidents. The Daniel Baird kits ate LAS approved and sadly vital tools for our society.

Julie Taylor is an amazing community champion who travels across the country not only fighting knife crime but also installing these important kits everywhere she goes.
