VIDEO: Fantastic Volunteer Police Cadet Passing Out Parade held at Barking College.
Saturday saw the first ever Volunteer Police cadet Passing Out Parade across London held at Barking College. Cadets from Havering and Barking came together to have London’s first ever Passing Out Parade in front of some very special guests.
Seventy cadets under the guidance of PC Anthony Kiddle who is not only a very well respected officer locally, but one of a team who runs the cadets here in the borough.
Under very hot conditions, the youngsters were able to pass out in front of the Barking and Dagenham Mayor Councillor Faruk Choudhury, East Area’s Superintendent Lisa Butterfield, Chief Inspector Chris Nixon and a very special guest-Deputy Commissioner Helen Ball who is one of the nicest police leaders you can find and was extremely encouraging and positive to these young cadets.
It was an amazing day for the cadets and their family and friends who came to proudly watch them at Barking College.
A huge well done to PC Kiddle and all the other staff involved who have given up what little free time they have to run our cadets and have done a fantastic job. And of course a huge well done to the seventy cadets who under very hot conditions did themselves and their families proud!
