Residents living next to Marsh way/ New Road in Rainham have repeatedly reported their concerns on this junction that they are calling’ dangerous’. Locals are used to seeing emergency service vehicles attending collision after collision on this stretch of road just past the lights near the A13.

Ray who lives on Frederick Road, told the Havering Daily:

“I have reported this road and how dangerous it is to the council multiple times. There are so many accidents here with people coming off the A13. The whole road lay out needs to be looked and addressed in some way to stop all these accidents from happening.

“Most of us residents who live near these roads are used to see ambulances or police cars attending a crash there. Truthfully, we are fed up with it and hope now that the new council will address these issues.”

Yesterday, saw a postal van collide with a vehicle on New Road. A Met police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at approximately 13:33 on Thursday 7 July to reports of two vehicles in collision on New Road, Rainham.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

“Two people attended hospital for treatment, neither of their condition is life threatening.”
