Liberation of the Falklands Islands commemorated at special service in Elm Park.

On Tuesday 14 of June a special service was held in Elm Park to commemorate the liberation of the Falkland Islands.

The service was held at the British Legion and presided by Father Tom Keighley. Deputy Mayor Councillor Stephanie Nunn and Consort Councillor Barry Mugglestone attended the service to pay their respects to all those involved in the liberation.

The Last Post was sounded and a two minute silence was held.

The special service held on Tuesday for the liberation of the Falkland Islands.
