VIDEO: Havering Council Committee structure changes.

As the new administration takes control over Havering, changes are starting to be made to make the council streamlined and more efficient. At yesterday’s resumed full council meeting, proposals were made by the Havering Residents Association and supported by Havering’s Labour party that saw a new structure to the committee system.

Objections were voiced by the Conservative opposition party but cut short as new measures were clearly voted in.

The new measures see changes to how the committee systems are structured and also sees the removal of numerous committees.

Havering’s Leader of the Council, Councillor Ray Morgon shared with the Havering Daily the new structure taking place across the borough.
