The junction between Dagenham Avenue and Hedgeman’s Road was closed yesterday afternoon following the stabbing of a 36 year old male. The incident took place at 2.31pm and the male was taken to hospital where his injuries are not reported to be life threatening,

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“At 14:31hrs on Saturday, 28 May police were called to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Dagenham Avenue and Hedgemans Road, Dagenham.

Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service.

A 36-year-old man was taken to an east London hospital where his injuries were later assessed as non-life changing and non-life threatening.
An investigation is under way but at this stage there have been no arrests.”
