The ongoing anti social behaviour issues have continued in Elm Park and yesterday police used dispersal powers to remove persons aged under 16 years old from the area. The dispersal order began from Tuesday 24 of May through to Thursday 26 of May. The aim is to remove youths aged under 16 years old from Tadworth Place and send them home or to a place of safety.

Police officers increased patrols in the area and joined forces with Safer Schools and Safer Neighbourhoods officers for a day of action in the area. Weapon sweeps and a knife arch were used at Elm Park station, as well as the use of drug dogs.

High visibility patrols in the area will continue to combat the spate of anti social behaviour after school by youths.
