Celebrating St George’s Day in style.

Havering celebrated St George’s Day in style with Romford market pulling out all the stops to make this a day to remember.

Celebrations began at midday with St George’s dragon paying a special visit to Romford, alongside the British Legion Band and Corps of Drums Romford who were especially suited and booted and led by our Town Cryer.

There were also lots of mascots on hand for children to have their photographs taken with and of course the infamous dragon himself!
