Julie Taylor from the Liam Taylor Legacy donated her 50th bleed kit bag to Romford town centre yesterday Thursday 21 April. Julie joined forces with Romford Town Centre police team to place the kit in MacDonald’s on South Street, open 24 hours a day.

Following the launch of Havering’s first bleed kit at the Mardyke Community Centre last month, Julie discussed the installation of one in Romford with Sergeant Jane Collard who identified MacDonalds’ as the best place to have the kit.

Yesterday, Julie was able to hand the kit over to Sergeant Sarah Wolfe from the town centre team and Mac Donald’s Manager Chloe Cable who was pleased to have this in her outlet.

The kit was kindly donated from Lynne Baird at the Daniel Baird Foundation and is LAS approved. They are life saving tools that are sadly vital on our streets.
