Rainham station c2c funding bid.

The Dagenham and Rainham MP Jon Cruddas has written to the Government Transport Minister to add his support to c2c’s bid for carrying out improvements to accessibility at Rainham station. The c2c application to government is funding from a pot of money which becomes available from 2024.

At present London bound passengers who have mobility restrictions have to come out of the station and use the level crossing.

Jon told the Havering Daily: “I strongly support this bid from c2c and hope it is successful in improving  Rainham station giving step free access for passengers with reduced mobility”.
