Easter bunnies arrive at Rainham allotments.

The Easter festive season came to Rainham allotments on Friday 15 April with a special visit from the Easter bunnies themselves. The bunnies came to hand out eggs and have their pictures taken with locals in the special carrot mobile.

Organised by the two local community champions Sue Ospreay and Jackie McArdle, many locals came to the allotments to meet and greet the bunnies and have a much needed break in the sunshine.

Sue told the Havering Daily: “It was greet to have the Easter bunnies visit us and a special day for all the community to enjoy.”

The Rainham allotments are very much a central part of the community, with endless events taking place there on a regular basis.

Well done to the two ladies for once again put a smile on people’s faces.
