BREAKING: Thugs who fatally stabbed Daniel Laskos given 20 year sentences.

The four teenagers who fatally stabbed Daniel Laskos last year have been given lengthy prison sentences today at the Old Bailey. The shocking murder of Daniel was captured on CCTV and shows the horrifying moment he was ambushed by the thugs and fatally stabbed in the neck.

Daniel had been leaving a shop on Church Road in Harold Wood when he was attacked by the four armed teenagers on the evening of May 7, 2021.

Today Callum Hands aged 20 was given 21 years imprisonment. Rakeem Green-Matthews aged 19 was jailed for 20 years. Joshua Kerr aged 19 years old who delivered the fatal wound that killed Daniel was handed life imprisonment with a minimum of 23 years. The 16 year old who cannot be named for legal reasons was given 14 years in a young offenders instituation.

An emotional victim impact statement was read in court today written by Daniel’s family where they talk about their son and how Daniel had his whole life ahead of him.

His mum was quoted: “Because I am his mother, nothing will ever take the pain from me. If I see any young guys having an argument, I want to go over and help resolve it because I couldn’t do it for him.”

“The case has been explained to me in private and obviously I want the defendants to be punished, but that will not bring my son back. We have always loved Daniel and he will stay in our hearts forever. We will never get over what has happened and I will probably never be happy again,”. The heartbreaking words of Daniel Lasko’s mum.
