18 year old male arrested nearby the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 16 year old boy was stabbed yesterday afternoon on a bus in Chadwell Heath and remains in a life threatening condition. The shocking incident happened just before 4pm on the High Road as children returned home from school.
A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 15:55hrs on Monday, 14 March to reports of a stabbing on board a bus in High Road, Chadwell Heath.
“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. A 16-year-old boy was found with a stab injury and taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition. His next of kin are aware.
“An 18-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.
“A crime scene remains in place and enquiries are ongoing.
